MAID IN MONTANA
MAID IN MONTANA (3) by Susan Meier: Rancher Jeb Worthington needs a housekeeper to get things in shape for visiting clients, and on paper, Sophie Penazzi's perfect. But she has an infant son, and Jeb has some issues with children, so he's prepared to send Sophie packing right away. No shrinking violet, Sophie stands up to Jeb and persuades him to let her stay long enough to prove herself. Getting involved would be a tremendous mistake, but it happens -- and then Sophie learns why grouchy Jeb's so touchy about kids. Well-handled characters with a fair bit of chemistry offset the slightly familiar scenario.
