RT Rating

As "Dr. Cyn," counselor and sex therapist J.C. Gardner writes newspaper columns on relationships. While researching an article on military heroes, men she believes are unreliable love interests, she meets and is instantly attracted to Major Ethan McCormick. Ethan tries to live by the highest standards of honor, but he hides his heart and emotions behind a stiff, formal demeanor. Now he needs a fake fiancé to get a promotion. J.C. agrees to help him, but she has real issues to overcome before she can trust him with her heart. Major Attraction (4.5) by Julie Miller takes the idea of a pretend engagement and makes it work. Watching these two overcome obstacles makes for a heartwrenching romance. There is humor, extreme emotion, great sexual tension and mystery.
