MAKE YOU MINE
Sexy and steamy, Make You Mine has everything needed for a fun read. The dialogue is sharp-witted and the characters are more than skin deep, giving the story a great balance. Lighthearted and enjoyable, this one is hard to put down.
Residents of Cedar Bayou, La., have gossiped for years about the Dumont family hex that has left them all bachelors for 99 years. In reality, it’s not a hex but their own aversion to commitment. Marc Dumont lives up to the family curse, leaving women behind up and down the Mississippi as captain of the family riverboat. When his high school sweetheart accepts a job on board, rumors fly that Allie Mauvais’ great-great grandmother was the one who cursed the Dumonts. Marc wants nothing to do with her, but after two weeks on the water, neither one can deny their attraction. (SIGNET ECLIPSE, May, 352 pp., $7.99)
