MAKHI
by Mahalia Levey

Genre: Erotic Romance, Paranormal, E-book

RT Rating

In just a few short pages, Levey packs a lot into this sexy paranormal story. In addition to super hot sex scenes, she has an impressive amount of worldbuilding, a relatable heroine embarking on her own personal transformation and two hunky heroes. However, readers may be disappointed that this novella is not longer, as the relationship between Makhi, Kamaria and Caedon is never fully realized.

After being incarcerated in a mental health institution, Kamaria has started to believe that she is a deranged monster and she struggles to keep her hold on reality as she starves for a man to satisfy her sexual hunger. Unbeknownst to her, Kamaria is a succubus and cannot thrive on Earth. Thankfully, soon after Kamaria breaks out of the asylum she meets Caedon, a shapeshifter who rescues those in need of being united with their own kind. He brings Kamaria to Hell where she meets one of her own, Makhi, an incubus who can feed her. With this new lease on life, Kamaria struggles to come to terms with the intense relationship that develops between her, Makhi and Caedon. (LIQUID SILVER BOOKS, August 2011, dl., $5.50)
