After one of the women she counsels is brutally attacked by the husband she left, counselor Karin Jorgensen works with police officer Bruce Walker to find out where the husband could have taken the couple's young children. As Karin spends time at the hospital with her client and Bruce searches for clues, the two form a strong connection. In The Man Behind the Cop (3), Janice Kay Johnson's good characterization adds to this tale of loyalty and trust. The only drawback is that the ending feels rushed.
