DEA agent Tyrell Cobb is used to controlling situations and people around him, even keeping longtime family friend Jodie Clayburn at a distance. Ty knows Jodie has been in love with him for years, but he has no desire for love, marriage or family. This barrier is broken when Jodie unknowingly becomes tangled in Ty's investigation. Once she gets under his skin, Ty learns there's no getting her out again. Diana Palmer's MAN IN CONTROL (2) tells a fast-paced tale from multiple points of view, often making it difficult to follow. I was confused about who was going to emerge as the hero/heroine until I reached page 30. Also, an excess of supporting characters added to the confusion.
