THE MAN WITH THE MONEY
When Charlene Bellamy solicits a donation for her son's soccer team, she doesn't knowor carewho Darren Rudd is. All that matters to her is that he's THE MAN WITH THE MONEY (3). D. K. Rudell takes one look at Charly and wants so badly to get close to her that he not only breaks his own policy and sponsors her team, but he also lies to her about who he really is. Though Arlene James's novel is otherwise enjoyable, it's hard to sympathize with a hero who is unreasonably dishonest.
