Still haunted by the death of her husband, widow Kara Tillman doesn't want to get involved with bartender and aspiring country and western singer Derrick Mertz and his handicapped son. But when the attraction turns out to be mutual, she finds it too hard to resist. Brenda Mott's Man From Montana (4) is a heartwarming read about time's power to heal all wounds. Imperfections give the characters depth, making for a quick and interesting read. The two protagonists are flawed by their pasts but manage to heal and grow together.
