Four years ago, the deaths of Adam Ramsey's partner and Jillian Sullivan's husband seemed unrelated. Now Adam isn't so sure, and he needs Jillian's help to untangle the mystery. While the foul play aspect of the story is confusing, the strength of Linda Style's THE MAN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH (3) is the transformation of Jillian from a timid to a self-assured woman, and Adam's understanding that he should put the emotional needs of others ahead of his "guns blazing" attitude.
