Two women try to reclaim their bliss when they reach the bottom. When Tessa and Kate lose their banking jobs of 17 years and their relationships with the men in their lives, they go to Costa Rica to sort things out. There they find two women they suspect are squatters in the friend's house they're borrowing, a missing caretaker and a chance for new lives. Interesting, with a fresh setting and good humor, Off the Map (3), by Dorien Kelly, tells a touching story. But there's too much plot for one book, and the result is a somewhat superficial look at the women's lives.
