MARCHESE'S FORGOTTEN BRIDE (2) by Michelle Reid: Back on her feet after some rough years as a single mother raising twins, Cassie James is nervously awaiting her new boss. He turns out to be her former lover and the father of her children, Alessandro Marchese, the man who abandoned her. What's worse is he acts as if he's never met her! But it's immediately clear he's attracted when he asks her out. When she discloses their past, Alessandro claims he can't remember. Should Cassie believe him? There's plenty of chemistry between this pair, but their complicated issues are glossed over. Reid focuses on the present, so we don't get any insight into what happened before the separation, which makes the story feel incomplete.

It is one of the worst books that I have read. The heroine turns out to be the OW without her knowledge and pressured into marriage due to the hero's guilt. RT was too kind with its rating of it.
