Lawyer Romy Bridgeport is intent on securing a healthy settlement in her client's divorce from millionaire Sebastian Fox. What she doesn't anticipate is Sebastian's lightning-fast capitulation, nor his strange request that she take him on as a client too and help him find a new wife! Ally Blake's writing is appealing but lacks consistency. Marriage Material (2) is often very vivid and lively, but the dialogue alternates between realistic and stilted, particularly since Blake eschews contractions. Mostly the story just seems highly implausible.
