MARRY ME, MARINE (3) by Rogenna Brewer: Wanting to join the Marines in order to provide a better life for her young son, Angela Anne Adams convinces Clayton Henry-Miner (Hatch), a former Navy SEAL, to marry her because as a single mom she’s not eligible to join the military. But when her aunt dies after Angela enlists, Hatch is left as her son’s guardian until she completes her training and military service. The short periods the two spend together when Angela is on leave only prove that while they are quite attracted to one another, they don’t always get along. A novel storyline and interesting characters, but Hatch’s agreeing to marry Angela happens just a bit too quickly, as does the resolution of the story.
