MARRYING THE MANHATTAN MILLIONAIRE (4) by Jackie Braun: Seven years ago, rival ad execs Samantha Bradford and Michael Lewis were on the verge of marrying, but he forced her to choose between him and her family. Running into each other at an awards dinner steps up their already less-than-friendly competition for high-level clientele -- and it also gets them talking. Learning why Sam stayed in New York changes everything, and soon they're back in each other's arms. But have they grown enough to make things work now? Braun's familiar premise works beautifully because the characters are so strong. The banter between Sam and Michael alone makes the story worthwhile.
