MASTER OF THE DESERT
MASTER OF THE DESERT (3) by Susan Stephens: When the fishing vessel that Antonia hitched a ride on is captured by pirates, she jumps overboard, only to rescue herself by climbing onto Saif’s private yacht. Since Saif is from Sinnebar, Antonia’s destination, she thinks she is in luck until she discovers Saif is actually Sheikh Ra-id, the country’s ruler. Unfortunately, by the time she discovers his true identity, she’s fallen in love. When she realizes she’s pregnant with his child, she fears that the the sheikh will put duty before love and take her child away. The story has a memorable beginning, but Saif’s change of heart from expedience to undying love is abrupt.
