It's back to the Mageverse as the son of King Arthur and Guinevere struggles against destiny. Although known for her scintillating sex scenes, Knight is also adept at layering action within the intriguing worlds she creates. Her Mageverse series continues to grow and add fascinating new chapters that will delight readers.

Lt. Logan MacRoy is extremely good at his job as an arson investigator and bomb squad member. What Logan is hiding, however, is that he is the son of the immortal vampire King Arthur and the magi Guinevere. Thus far, Logan has refused to take the steps necessary to move from latent to full vampire.

Brilliant chemist Giada Shepherd has only recently been changed into a full-fledged magi. Her current assignment is to protect Logan from a deadly assassin who is targeting latents. Since Arthur has ordered that Logan be kept in the dark, only the ancient being known as Smoke is there to assist Giada. Although Arthur has ordered Giada not to engage in the sexual behavior that could change Logan to a vampire, the passion between them cannot be denied! (BERKLEY SENSATION, Mar., 290 pp., $7.99)
