This laugh-out-loud historical romance shows that even well-plotted plans can have unexpected endings as the characters have the habit of getting themselves in situations that require help from friends. Turano has written a believable story that flows evenly throughout.
Agatha Watson is having the time of her life as a traveling reporter for a New York newspaper when she stumbles upon Zayne Beckett in Colorado and becomes determined to get the disheveled man back to his family in New York. But his stubborn streak is higher than some mountains and she has to stay on her toes to see this through.
