The daughter of a U.S. senator, Grace Harrison lives her life far from the public eye. Jud Marlowe, a journalist known for his shady dealings, has been given a fluff assignment for Valentine's Day. When the two meet, Jud becomes intrigued by Grace's job -- she's a Christian matchmaker. The more he learns, the more he likes about both Grace and the God he has allowed to fade from his life. Matchmaker, Matchmaker... (4.5) has a superbly original plot. The combination of political setting with a faith-based way to find love will delight readers. Anna Schmidt's novel is absolutely outstanding.
