MATCHMAKING BY MOONLIGHT (3) by Teresa Hill: Free-spirit Lilah Rya n helps women get over their divorces, and she wants Judge Thomas “Ashe” Ashford to perform a “divorce ceremony” as part of her program. Skeptical, judgmental Ashe reluctantly agrees to perform the ceremony as a favor to a good friend, though he doesn’t quite get the point. His predictable life is turned upside down as he interacts with this passionate, complicated woman. Logically, Ashe knows that Lilah is not good for his image, but though she drives him crazy, she also gives him the greatest comfort. Will Ashe’s logic or heart win out in the end? Interesting, quirky characters populate this amusing read, though the pacing of the story is a little slow in parts.
