THE MAVERICK PRINCE (4) by Catherine Mann: The prince of a country overturned by rebellion, Antonio Medina has been flying under the radar since he fled his island sanctuary and his father’s control. Waitress Shannon Crawford thought she was just having an affair with one of her customers — albeit a millionaire customer. When the press blows Tony’s cover, the pair flees to protect her son in a charming romance between two wounded people. The characters are strong, grow together and are quite believable as individuals.

This book introduces you to Tony aka Antonio Medina a prince in hiding. He has started a new life since his father the king was overthrown. He is quite satisfied with his life and lover Shannon.

However, all this is thrown in jeopardy when a tabloid unearths his true identity. In trying to protect his lover and her son, he takes them to his fathers secret hideaway.

There he tries to rekindle a relationship with Shannon , who is having a hard time dealing with his royalty. In addition there is finding out who leaked the information his whereabouts and his estranged relationship with his father.

I enjoyed the story and I am looking forward to the others in this series.
