In MAYBE THIS CHRISTMAS (3), you'll find two delightful stories by Janet Dailey. "Darling Jenny" finds Jennifer in Wyoming, visiting her sister while she attempts to get over a broken romance. Logan, her sister's boss, is attracted to Jennifer and she to him, even though he appears to be the same type as the man she left behind. However, appearances can be deceiving. In "Strange Bedfellow," just when widowed Dina Chandler is starting to move on with her life, and becomes engaged, her "dead" husband returns. But he is not the same man that left home two and a half years ago—and she is not the same woman. Dailey fans will find these to be enjoyable stories that are pure romance, with not a lot of angst. The heroes are very alpha and rather insensitive, but the heroines are strong enough to be a fair match for them. (Oct., 352 pp., $6.99)
