Dana has started a new life building a career promoting plans for a conference center for a local university—even garnering a marriage proposal from the university president—just as her ex-husband Zeke tells her they're still married. Zeke needs Dana to act the part of his wife until the sale of his company goes through, to fend off the amorous female CEO of the buying company. Somehow the idea of staying married begins to take root. Though the tone is flat and the pacing slow, MAYBE MARRIED (2) by Leigh Michaels is an entertaining read offering a new twist on the marriage-of-convenience premise.
