McFARLANE’S PERFECT BRIDE (4) by Christine Rimmer: Tori Jones is astonished when wealthy Conner McFarlane storms into her house one afternoon looking for his teenage son. But a few days later, when Conner asks her out on a date, she accepts. Sparks fly and a new relationship begins for them. Connor has met his match with the down-to-earth teacher, as he experiences being attracted for the first time to someone he likes — not because of her background or position in life. Tori, despite her first impression, finds Connor appealing in more ways than one. A tender plot, a strong-willed, passionate heroine and an unyielding hero in need of a change all make this novel a delight.

Hotel Millionaire, Connor McFarlane is in Thunder Canyon to buy a Resort and bond with his son. But bonding with a fifteen year old is turning out to be harder than he thought. That is until English teacher Tori Jones comes to his rescue. Connors ex-wife has just changed her mind about leaving CJ with Connor and the only thing Connor can think of doing is talking Tori into pretending to be his fiance. Tori finds Connor McFarlane irresistible and when he asks her to pretend to be his fiance to keep his son, Tori agrees, but she didn't count on falling in love with Connor.

This was an okay book. I enjoyed it, but didn't love it. It seemed so improbable
