Hail, hail, the gang's all here for the rip-roaring new installment of the Silver Dragons saga. One thing you can be sure of in a MacAlister novel is that there will be plenty of outlandish scenarios as well as passionate encounters. Big fun!

Doppelganger May and her wyvern mate Gabriel are still searching for a way to safely remove the dragon shard from May's heart -- and get her released from her bond to sex-crazed
ex-demon lord Magoth.

Then there's the problem of the apparent resurrection of the dangerous black dragon Baltic. No one knows Baltic's agenda, but the black dragon Kostya is determined to call a dragon sarkany. Complicating matters further is the imminent birth of Aisling and Drake's baby. With this many power struggles in the offing, things are bound to get dicey. (SIGNET, Nov., 352 pp., $7.99)

This book is great fun and ends with a BIG surprise. The latest in the book in the dragon series by MacAlister is a must read. It should be noted that the previous books should be read first so that the reader has the history of the goings on and understands the positions of all the characters.

May and Gabriel are a wonderful couple. They are solid although much madness is going on around them. Kostya has an agenda which is no secret. Baltic is a powerhouse and his agenda is in question. However the Big surprise makes one wonder exactly what he is trying to do.

Of course Magoth is a pain but when hasn't he been? There is a little surprise regarding him as well.

This is a good addition to a wonderful series.

Overall,
