MEDUSA’S SHEIK (3) by Cindy Dees: Medusa operative Casey Chandler is a special forces operative working undercover as a belly dancer. The family of Hakim El Aran is suspected of arranging to sell nuclear production equipment to terrorists and Casey’s job is to infiltrate the family, find the proof and stop the sale. Hakim and Casey are instantly in lust with each other. Hakim and his father are only pretending to work with the terrorists, so the order won’t be filled. When someone tries to blow him up and Casey saves him, Hakim must work with her to discover the terrorist’s identity and put him out of business. There is glamour and excitement in this, but the romance feels artificial and forced. Hakim is well drawn, but not especially likable and never seems like a hero.
