A trio of old-lady matchmakers has decided that Sheri Marsh is their next project. But Sheri feels she can foil their attempts by finding a man with little desire for marriage to play her boyfriend. When she sets her sights on Pace Gentry, a bronc buster new to town, she quickly discovers that first impressions aren't always lasting impressions. Debra Clopton's Meeting Her Match (4.5) is a delightful novel in which Sheri learns that well-laid plans don't always come to fruition. Pace is a cowboy through and through, and readers who love cowboys will absolutely adore him -- and this terrific story.
