MERRY CHRISTMAS, COWBOY
by Janet Dailey

Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance
Sensuality: MILD

RT Rating

Following her annual Christmas tradition, Dailey brings readers the tale of the brother to the hero from last year’s story. The concept of the Christmas House, a local mansion decorated for the holiday season, is delightful and makes one wish to visit it. Even though the hero is a bit hard to like, the spirit of Christmas permeates this charming holiday romance.

Zach Bennett left the family ranch for Denver to earn some extra money this Christmas, and he decides to volunteer as a carpenter at the local Christmas House, a historic mansion used by charitable organizations. Police officer Paula Lewis is also volunteering some of her off-duty evenings to act as security at the house. As they share work time and concern for the wayward grandson of a fellow employee, Paula and Zach find this Christmas to be full of unexpected gifts for the heart. (ZEBRA, Oct., 295 pp., $ 7.99)
