Book Review

Genre: Inspirational, Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

Wiesner’s second Friendship Heirlooms book is interesting, with several surprises, but Mike is so overprotective of LeeAnn that he doesn’t seem to trust her. If he loves her as much as he professes, he would find her fears more credible, especially in light of her upbringing.

Michael Fremont and LeeAnn Wagner are both products of troubled childhoods. When they meet, he considers her his angel. Although they live together, they’ve pledged their lives to Christ and do not give in to their desires. Their pastor advises Mike to join the Marines to remove himself from temptation. During their separation, LeeAnn works to become the strong woman he deserves. But she’s haunted by shadows from her past that renew her fears, causing Mike to believe LeeAnn’s not as tough as she seems. (KARENWIESNER.COM, Jul., 254 pp., $12.95)
