Archaeologist and treasure hunter Veronica Bright ends up on the quest of a lifetime when fellow archaeologist Simon Owens recruits her to help look for the legendary Midas stone—the stone King Midas used to turn objects into gold. On their search the two must contend with vicious and greedy treasure hunters as well as their attraction to each other. The Midas Trap (4.5) by Sharron McClellan is a wonderful book with well-orchestrated characters and a fast-moving, riveting plot. The addition of a myth to the story only makes it more interesting. A fun and exciting read!
