MIDNIGHT MARRIAGE
by Victoria Bylin

Genre: Historical Romance
Setting: 1800s American West

RT Rating

The third in the Midas Touch trilogy brings the unlikely pair of Dr. Susanna Leaf and bounty hunter Rafe LaCroix together in a sizzling western.

Rafe isn't a man to linger long in
one spot, but when the orphan boy he
is traveling with is shot, he has to stop to find a doctor. The only doctor in Midas, Susanna finds herself kidnapped by a ruthless gunman. But when she sees the child's wounds and Rafe's obvious concern, she begins to look at him differently.

Yet just knowing Rafe puts Susanna in danger. He's hunting the vicious Benton gang, and everyone he knows and loves could die unless he can ride into town,
face his past and claim Susanna's love.

Bylin captures the aura of the
wild west as skillfully as she creates memorable characters. The fast pace is tempered by the gentle passion that shimmers through the pages, bringing readers a wonderful experience. SENSUAL (Jan., 300 pp., $5.50)
