MIDNIGHT SPECIAL (3) by Tawny Weber: FBI operative Michael Hunter is forced to take a vintage murder mystery train cross country from New York to San Francisco so he can recover from injuries sustained in a recent bust-up and testify in a high profile case. Aspiring reporter Marni Clare is hot on the case, and just barely manages to book a ticket on the train and share a berth with the sexy FBI agent, hoping to get some insight into the case and break the story. While the murder mystery train angle is interesting, it completely goes to waste in this story, which in the end is heavy on character and background story, but succeeds most in hot, hot sex. It’s worth a read for that alone.
