Super storyteller Grant returns with the second back-to-back release in the Dark Warrior series. This tale turns to the growing threat and power of Declan Wallace. All of Grant’s characters must face not only external threats, but also their own inner demons, lending an extra depth and drama to the stories. A rich variety of previous protagonists adds a wonderful familiarity to the books as well.

A decade ago, Tara Kincaid made a big mistake: She trusted Declan Wallace. All of Tara’s family, except for her, have chosen dark Druid magic and become “Drough.” Tara thought Declan was different, until she overheard his plan to trick her into becoming Drough along with them. She fled and has stayed one step ahead of him. Tara now believes he has located her, but she doesn’t realize that the warriors have also found her. Ramsey MacDonald has been sent to get close to and protect a wary Tara. As both warrior and Druid, Ramsey has unusual strength and power. But getting Tara to trust him won’t be easy. (ST.
