MILLION DOLLAR CHRISTMAS PROPOSAL (4.5) by Lucy Monroe: Vincenzo Tomasi knows money can’t buy happiness, but he’s hoping it will buy him a wife and a mother for his brother’s orphaned children. Audrey Miller has raised her gay younger brother since their parents threw him out. Her brother dreams of attending MIT, and that wish may be realized if Audrey is hired as her billionaire boss’ wife and the mother to his wards. Monroe’s romance is a hit. Her characters are all impeccable in their roles, especially the 4-year-old heartbreaker. Vincenzo and Audrey shine with their witty, head-heart compatibility and their smorgasbord of love scenes. Set mostly in an incredible yet homey mansion that’s a character in itself, this story is a win-win for readers.
