MILLIONAIRE'S CALCULATED BABY BID
A millionaire from the wrong side of the tracks, Ethan Curtis is blackmailing Mary Kelly into giving him a child to keep her father out of jail. Ethan doesn't want Mary, just the baby, at first, but when things change between the couple, can they overcome their angry beginning? Pregnancy, blackmail, overbearing millionaires and protective daughters -- overused plot devices, anyone? There's just not enough to root for in Laura Wright's Millionaire's Calculated Baby Bid (2) because the characters are too shallow and the plot too trite.
