MILLIONS TO SPARE
While in Dubai to write a puff piece, journalist Julia Nash sees a horse that resembles Leopold's Legacy, the horse at the center of the breeding scandal at Quest Stables. Trying to get a DNA sample, Julia ends up in hot water when the animal's poisoned. Lord Harrison Rochester, the horse's owner, initially suspects Julia of espionage but eventually decides she's innocent. Harrison's convinced enough to offer Julia the protection of marriage to get her out of the country -- which is when things get interesting between them. Barbara Dunlop's Millions to Spare (4) is action-packed and sprinkled liberally with chills and chuckles. Very entertaining.
