THE MIRACLE OF MERCY LAND
by River Jordan

Genre: Inspirational, Fantasy, Historical Romance

RT Rating

Jordan has a special gift for bringing stories alive. The Miracle of Mercy Land asks readers to consider how they would change parts of their lives they aren’t happy with, if they had the opportunity to do so. It is a thought-provoking glimpse into what might have been.

It’s the mid-1930s and Mercy Land leaves her somewhat sheltered life to be a reporter for a newspaper in nearby Bay City. Doc Philips is the publisher and editor of the paper and comes to rely on Mercy. Doc comes into possession of a mysterious book of maps. These are not ordinary maps however: they map the life choices made and results recorded of every person in Bay City. Doc wants to use the book to right a wrong, while Mercy is intrigued by the book’s prediction and wants to chase it down. (WATERBROOK, Sep., 448 pp., $14.99)
