Dr. Steve Cameron has lost faith in his ability as a doctor because so many of his patients seem to die. A mysterious bag lady convinces him to visit a small cabin that, unbeknownst to him, serves as a gateway to the mists of time.

Meghan Peese is the healer that downhearted individuals will find when they enter the mists of time. Steve is her new "assignment," and she must guide him on a journey within himself to restore his spirits. The only problem is they fall in love.

This is an enchanted tale of love, courage, hope, faith, heartbreak and trust in a small village where time is relative and miracles can happen. Sinclair weaves a beautiful story of the human spirit with her many characters and blends paranormal and romantic elements in a way that touches every emotion.

The chemistry and love shared between all of the characters is not easy to put into words, but Sinclair nails it. This is a must-read for fans of romance and paranormal literature as well as those that need their spirits lifted. (Dec., 347 pp., $6.99)
