Lindsay Randall sweeps us off into intrigue and romance in MISS MEREDITH'S MARRIAGE (3). When a young miss proposes a marriage of convenience to a gentleman with whom she once shared a moment of rapport, she has no idea that she is actually addressing his blacksheep twin brother, who suspects her of having something to do with his sibling's mysterious disappearance. Although the intricate plot is not always smoothly developed, Ms. Randall creates an appealing cast of characters to keep our interest at a high pitch.
