Book Review

MISTRESS OF THE STORM
by Terri Brisbin

Genre: Historical Romance, Medieval, Scotland
Sensuality: SCORCHER
Setting: Medieval Scotland

RT Rating

The last book of Brisbin’s Storm series is a sensual feast, an erotic tale of good vs. evil, magic vs. humanity, man vs. man. Readers will enjoy the well-written characters, the emotional plot and the high level of sexuality.

Isabel is a pawn of her power-hungry stepfather. He sells her to any and all who can bring him political gain, including Duncan of Skye, a healer with royal connections. But Duncan sees the beautiful temptress and not the whore, and he wants her for his very own. Isabel doesn’t trust men, and especially not Duncan, with his tenderness. She struggles to protect her heart, as Duncan fights for her love and freedom, even risking his own life. (BRAVA, Jul., 320 pp., $14.00)
