A MOM FOR CALLIE (2) by Laura Bradford: Betsy Anderson is standing on her own personal touchstone the first time she meets Officer Kyle Brennan, and she feels the spark of a reawakened life inside her body; a spark that has not been present since her husband’s death 18 months before. Kyle is a dedicated single father and not looking for a relationship, but as they’re drawn closer together their individual pasts will put stumbling blocks in their way. Audiences will sympathize with the characters and wish for them to be together, but will be bogged down in the series of miscommunications and assumptions that keep the couple apart.
