When she agreed to sail
her grandfather's boat to Florida, Molly McBryde didn't anticipate sharing such close quarters with hired captain Eric Norvald and his 7-year-old daughter Phoebe. Eric, a widower, is slow to warm up to Molly, but Phoebe feels an instant connection. While stranded in a small coastal community, they become almost like a family. The Mommy Wish (4.5) is a real treat. Pamela Browning's characters are warm and human, with unique personalities and endearing quirks. The town of Greensea Springs makes a beautiful backdrop for this heartwarming story about learning
to live with loss.
