Book Review

Genre: Erotic Romance, Paranormal

RT Rating

The latest chapter in the Monere series is a pulse-pounding erotic adventure. It's narrated in first person by the heroine in a strong yet emotional voice. Sunny creates a fascinating world that's violent and sexual. However, the plot is complicated by many secondary characters and references to past events. Readers will fare better if they start with book one.

The Monere are a shape-
shifting race living in secret among humans, and Mona Lisa is an oddity
among her own race. She's the first mixed-blood Monere Queen, with not only human but demon-tainted blood
as well.

She's been claimed by Lord Halcyon, the Demon Prince of Hell,
but she has sex with rogue warrior Dante in order to cure his madness. Returning memories of a previous life with Dante reveal a dangerous history of murder and mayhem. (BERKLEY, Jan., 288 pp., $14.00)
