THE MONEY MAN'S SEDUCTION
When venture capitalist Cole Preston's grandmother tells him she wants to contribute financially to the creation of an arts center for seniors, alarm bells go off. He rushes to the site, ready to do battle with stained-glass artist Emily Raines, the brains behind the project. But Emily's not a con artist -- she's terrific, and returns Cole's interest. Their time together is magical, but Cole's not into permanence -- until he leaves and realizes what he's lost by giving up Emily. Leslie Lafoy's The Money Man's Seduction (4) has a deceptively simple plot and a believable conflict. Its snappy, sexy dialogue is a pleasure too.
