MONTANA DOCTOR (3) by Ann Roth: Dr. Mark Engle is on his way to a promising job in Los Angeles when he stops to help at a traffic accident in Saddlers Prairie, Mont. Before he knows it, he’s been drafted into taking over for the ailing doctor at the Saddlers Prairie Clinic. Stacy Andrews moved to Montana after a rotten romance left her feeling disgusted with the trappings of ambition, and she wants nothing to do with the ambitious doctor who doesn’t want to hang around her small town. Neither is looking for love, but they receive help getting together from meddling patients. Roth’s main characters aren’t deep enough for readers to get involved with, but the supporting cast is amusing enough to make it a fair read.
