MONTANA MISTRESS (4.5) by Sara Orwig: When her father's gambling debts come to light after his stroke, Laurel Tolson decides to sell the family hotel and ranch to billionaire Chase Bennett. That's the only way she can keep supporting her grandmother and sisters. Chase is a strictly "solo" type of guy, but he's drawn to Laurel, so he offers her a deal: Be his mistress for a month and he'll pay her asking amount for the hotel, plus enough to save the ranch, then they'll go their separate ways. It's a delight to watch Laurel spar and match wits with the solitary Chase. The chemistry between Orwig's characters sparkles.
