Attorney Molly Ferguson is working on obtaining land rights for a mining company when she runs up against Steven Young Bear, attorney for the Native Americans who are fighting the company that's trying to mine their mountain. Although they're on opposite sides of the battle, Molly and Steven are unable to fight their attraction, even though it could cost Molly her job. In Montana Standoff (4), Nadia Nichols successfully combines a romance with an environmental issue and flows them both together seamlessly. The tension between the Native Americans and the mining company is well done. The attraction between Molly and Steven is something that could actually happen. Her descriptions are wonderful, and her characters well-developed.
