Motive: Secret Baby (4) is the book for soap opera fans. Nicholas believes he's cursed and that his bad luck is catching. Camille loved Nicholas for years, but after a last reunion on the beach, he sent her into the arms of another. Unfortunately, the marriage didn't happen -- because she was kidnapped and drugged until she gave birth to Nicholas' child. Now Camille is free and desperate to find her baby -- and Nicholas is the only man who can help her. And that's all in the first 10 pages. Debra Webb's latest has more toppings on it than a triple-decker sundae, but for those willing to suspend their disbelief, it's an "if I can only get one book this month" read.
