MOVING TARGET (4.5) by Kimberly Van Meter: Dr. Kat Odgers may be in danger when she creates a drug that can erase memories. Her life is turned upside down when Agent Jake Isaacs shows up at her front door. Jake must bring Kat to Washington, D.C., before the drug falls into the wrong hands. Jake tries to keep things professional, but the guileless Kat gets under his skin in the best way possible. Kat is an intelligent, nerdy heroine, and the colorful banter between her and Jake is one of the book’s highlights. Strong storytelling laced with humor and intrigue will hook the reader until the very last page.
