MR. RED RIDING HOODE

Author(s):

This novella is a sweet story that passes by in a flash. Bell gets props for her realistic portrayal of someone discovering the paranormal is real — no Bella Swan acceptance here — but use of the standard insta-mate trope leaves little time for the characters to build real chemistry. Still, the humor is fantastic, and shifter fans will be amused at the genre in-jokes. This couple is hot once they finally get past Steve’s panic. A longer book could have been sheer perfection.

Steven Hoode is a great best friend. So great, in fact, that he’s willing to brave the cold — which he hates — to save his buddy’s relationship and be there for his wedding. What he doesn’t expect during his month at the ski lodge is meeting Graciela Mendoza, or finding out that she — and his best friend — are werewolves. And that he’s Chela’s mate.
