RT Rating

This delightful, lighthearted romance moves quickly. Though there is not a lot of background revealed about the characters, there is enough for the reader to know and enjoy them, as well as the Irish countryside.

Ren Edwards works for Affluence Index, Inc., where she pretends to be a wealthy customer to experience and evaluate service at high-end businesses. When she buys a golf certificate for her fictitious husband, she soon finds herself strongly attracted to golf instructor and manager of the Desert Fire Golf Course, Adan Bennett.

As it becomes apparent that Adan is also attracted to her, but fighting it because of her marital status, Ren plans ways to spend time with him to see if he is really the one for her. When they go on a golf vacation to Ireland, she discovers finding the right time to confess her lack of husband may be too late to keep Adan from disappointing her. (AVALON, Mar., 224 pp., $23.95)
